The Cross Walk Campaign - A Path to Healing
Did you know the largest Easter celebration in the western hemisphere, is held annually in Antigua, Guatemala? Ornate processions trace the steps of Jesus as He carried His cross to Calvary. A cross walk if you will.
In 2022, Health Talents will introduce their own cross walk !
Our Board of Directors has decided to use the remainder of 2021 to remodel Clinica Ezell and Clinica Caris. The remodel includes a sanitation treatment plant, dedicated ER along with, but not limited to the following.
- Add an exam room and brick parking pad at Clinica Caris.
- A post-surgical observation wing at Clinica Ezell, complete with a dedicated and equipped ER.
- Wall plumbed oxygen lines into the post-operative recovery area
- Increased number of electrical outlets in dorm rooms.
- Re-plumbed water lines to increase water pressure in the shower facilities, replace water heaters.
- Replace older model dental chairs.
The funding for these improvements and new construction will come from the Cross Walk campaign. You will have the opportunity to honor someone with a brick engraved with the name you designate. These bricks will be embedded in the driveway at Clinica Ezell and Clinica Caris.
Next time you visit either site you will be able to make the Cross Walk. Pause in your walk to see the names of those who love and have sacrificed to make HTI the “place where Jesus works”.

If you wish to sponsor a brick, they are $250 per brick and can be imprinted with whatever you wish to have on them. Your brick could be in honor or memory of someone, it could also have your name on it and the month you typically go on surgical trips. It could be that you want to honor your ABC child or simply to state a memory verse or both, the list of possibilities is endless. Our web-site will provide you with the following information.
