Derek Swajanen is a lifelong Marquette County resident with nearly 30 years of courtroom experience. He has represented indigent clients, prosecuted serious felony and homicide cases, and handled complex litigation. He currently manages many of the same cases heard in District Court, giving him the experience and judgment to serve with fairness and integrity.
Beyond the courtroom, Derek has spent 25 years coaching local athletes and investing in the next generation. He and his wife, Dana, raised four daughters in this community and are now proud grandparents.
