empowering youth and families.

Program Highlights:
G-Town Funk (GTF)
A celebratory event showcasing rich Chicano culture through local vendors and vinyl music. G-Town Funk features oldies, soul, and funk genres, allowing attendees to connect with community heritage through the sound of vinyl. Help us make this a bi-monthly experience! Community Workshops
Our workshops offer free educational opportunities in subjects like art, gardening, wellness, and more — all led by SOBA members. We focus on empowering people with skills that promote self-sufficiency and creativity.
3rd Friday Art Walk (3FAW) – “Art & Soul”
Held every 3rd Friday from March to October in downtown Gilroy. “Art & Soul” transforms the 6th Street Art Studios’ outdoor patio into an open community art space. Including:
•Open Tables: Music lovers share vinyl records and set the vibe.
•Open Walls: Collaborative community mural spaces for all ages.
•Local Vendors: Monthly rotating craft vendors showcase the best of Gilroy’s creativity.
Your support will help us expand the Art & Soul message throughout Downtown Gilroy.
