About SLL: Sammamish Little League is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit, 501c3 registered, youth sports program that give boys and girls age 5-18 years old the opportunity to play baseball, softball and T-ball in a positive, community-oriented environment where teamwork, sportsmanship, and opportunity are emphasized. In 2017, Sammamish Little League served to more than 1000 athletes in spring and summer programs.
Why should you care: The first project will install infield turf at Brock O’Connor Field. Brock will be the example for future upgrades to the other fields, as we negotiate wet seasons like 2017. The goal is to cover the cost of the entire project and raise $240,000 by the end of July 2018. The funds will contribute to survey, material, and labor costs. We have started the permitting process and are excited to improve the league even more! We just took a HUGE step towards achieving our goal with a King County grant being awarded to Sammamish LL in the amount of $120k. With this, the project will proceed after the summer ball season ends.

- Field turf project on the new baseball field being installed at Pine Lake Middle School
- Covering dugouts at Klahanie Park
- Covering batting cages at Brock O’Conner and McWhirter with roofs
- Installation of batting cages at Beaver Lake Park
- Resurfacing/replacing infield dirt at McWhirter
- Extended netting up the backstep fences at McW, Brock, and Klahanie to save a few baseballs!
