Angela Reed, 3rd Grade Superhero

Ms. Reed has been an amazing member of the Ruth Acty teaching staff. In her class, she starts every day with a song, bringing smiles and making strong connections with her students. Her love of music is woven into her lessons, deepening the impact of the 3rd grade curriculum. Those in her class this year feel incredibly lucky to have had her leadership to rely on in this challenging year.  We’re sad to be saying goodbye to Ms. Reed, but wish her well on her next adventure! Let’s show our appreciation by setting her successor up for a great first year at Ruth Acty in 2021/22.

Where do the funds go?

The whole school benefits from funds raised. Your donation will help address our current deficit so we can launch into our 2021/2022 school year fully funded. While we can’t earmark specific funds for classes or projects, the PTA typically commits 70% of its budget to core school programs and teachers & principal support. Does your child love PE with Mr Cohn, going on field trips, or art projects created by MOCHA? All of these things are supported by the PTA. The money we raise also goes toward teachers professional development, project supplies, classroom equipment, special projects and more.
