We’ve always believed that happiness comes from within. For twenty years, that motto has guided us as we built places where people feel good—our team, our guests, our family.
Our story begins in 2007, inside an old train-station warehouse behind Berlin’s Hamburger Bahnhof. What started as a raw, empty space quickly became a home—filled with music, art, and an ever-growing family of people who believed in what we were building.
If you ever danced at Horse Meat Disco or stepped inside Tape, you were part of the energy that shaped us. For years, we created places where people felt welcomed, inspired, and free. When Tape was torn down in 2013, we carried that spirit with us—designing spaces for others, always searching for the next place to call our own.
That next home became Magic John’s, a spot on Oranienburger Strasse that simply felt right. Even as COVID hit just as we were about to sign, we took the leap. We cooked, we adapted, we survived a pandemic and supply-chain crises, and we grew into a team of 45 wonderful people from 27 countries.
Now we’re ready for the next chapter: Magic Garage &
Magic Garden
Set inside a former 1950s showroom—right across from where Tape
once stood—this space brings our worlds together: the music, the
community, the food, the joy. It’s a place where pizza meets disco,
where old friends return and new friends are made.
In 2026, Magic Garage & Garden will become our beer garden, our production home, and the heart of a new community hub.

What happens if the campaign does not reach it's financial goal?
