New Jersey Workshop for the Arts hasn't added a story.
Music is the universal language. It transcends borders, cultures, religions and races. It uplifts, it heals...it expresses the inexpressible. It cannot be overvalued.
The New Jersey Workshop for the Arts has worked tirelessly for over four decades to bring the transformative power of music and the arts to people of all ages in the greater Westfield community. Our many programs for children, adults, seniors, people with disabilities and others have served to educate and entertain our community in innumerable ways.
As we enter our 45th anniversary year, NJWA and the arts community as a whole are facing new challenges in the face of economic uncertainty and shrinking budgets. School music programs all over New Jersey are being eliminated and community arts institutions are struggling, making the work we do to keep the arts alive at NJWA ever more important.
With your support, we can not only ensure that the lights stay on and the music keeps playing, but we can also afford to expand our offerings to the increasing numbers of people who lack access to quality arts programming. Along with our visionary founder and director, Dr. Ted Schlosberg, our experienced faculty and staff continue to bring the life-changing experience of music to more and more members of our growing community. NJWA needs your help - join us in continuing to bring the transformative power of the arts to your friends and neighbors!
