My name is Kelli and I am the blessed mother to two boys. April 12,2019 I found my 16y.o. son/best friend dead in his new room a day after getting the keys to our new home. That day and moment changed my life forever, and took my breathe away in a way that is indescribable. I feel like a shell of a person without my son here, but since then I am devoted to helping make a difference in our youth and their life choices. I have started the Michael Jonathan Bell Foundation to be able to start a youth residential treatment program as well as providing educational talks on the impact "fake pills" are having on our youth here in the US.  Mikey was a happy go lucky 16 y.o. looking forward to his new caddie job that was to start the next day. He enjoyed living his life to the fullest and making sure he stood up for what was right and helping everyone he could. He wanted to make sure that everyone was happy and always making people smile. He talked many friends "off the ledge" and gave anything he could to help kids who needed guidance, clothes, or just someone to talk real to. He is missed by so many more than anyone could have imagined; he touched hundreds of lives young and old in such a short time. Mikey had been in a car accident in July 2018 that left him with severe headaches and someone gave him a pill telling him it would help the headaches go away; unfortunately he trusted that and broke off 1/3rd of the pill and died instantly from it being a "fake pill". It was nothing but a lethal dose of Fentanyl. His autopsy showed there was nothing in his system but this lethal dose. That moment forever changed the lives of many he knew and loved and I will forever help the youth; so that this tragedy may never happen to another family again.

This initial campaign (Mikey's Milestone #1) - is to raise enough money to purchase the land (acreage, hobby farm, nonworking farm) and get the construction completed on a 12 bed unit with kitchen, offices, etc. We are anticipating the full completed project to have its first youth entering our programs by early Fall/Winter 2021. So please help us to take the first steps in taking a stand on not just illegal sale of pills in the US; but on the 'fake pill" epidemic  that is killing our youth in larger numbers each year. I ask that each of you take a moment to consider the opportunity to help make a positive difference in our youth and give them their childhood/innocence back. "Without our youth there is no future."
