Every October, the world turns pink—but beneath the wave of pink ribbons and polished campaigns, a painful truth remains: those of us living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) are often forgotten. We are not just surviving — we are raising families, starting businesses, dreaming, and advocating — yet we receive the least amount of funding, visibility, and support. Research is being cut. Insurance becomes unaffordable. And many of us lose our jobs while still trying to live full, meaningful lives.
🚐 The Solution: Real Stories. Real Faces. Real Change.
Living Out Loud: MBC Journeys™ is a bold storytelling project on wheels — literally. I'm traveling the country to meet other women living with MBC, capturing their stories through interviews, photos, short films, and podcast-style conversations. Together, we are amplifying unheard voices and putting a face to a disease too often ignored. This is advocacy in motion — bringing connection, representation, and truth to light.
🚧 The Gap: Access, Awareness, and Urgency
We’re in a critical moment. Despite breakthrough treatments allowing us to live longer, we’re losing ground fast due to research defunding, job loss, and gaps in healthcare coverage. Without increased awareness and action, women will be left without the treatments and support they need. I have the skills, passion, and network to lead this project—but I need help getting on the road.
