Our Story
BGPP is a collective of tree planters who have decided to give back. By 2026, we want to plant 50 million trees in Canadian soil.
We are individuals from all over Canada who were connected by the transformative experience of tree planting. Our shared experiences, hardships, and successes have shaped us as individuals and led us to where we all our today.
With each passing year, the urgency for climate action grows stronger and stronger in each of us. BGPP is our way to do our part - and what better way to make an impact than by doing what we do best. Planting Trees and inviting others to join us.

Trees take on their own meaning for each of us. Whether they remind us of our past, allow us to look forward to the future, or simply act as a shady place to sit under on a hot summer day, we are all emotionally connected to trees in one way or another.
Trees are also an essential mechanism of most ecosystems and a stable climate. Trees mitigate temperature, act as a buffer to forest fires and flooding, provide homes for flora fauna, and maybe most importantly, they are one of the most efficient and proven ways to capture and store carbon.
While there is no one solution or easy fix to the climate crisis, planting trees is a tangible way we can make a difference today.

That's where you come in. Plant trees with us! Your contributions and campaigns are a specific and legitimate way for you to bring hope and action into your daily routines. None of this would be possible without you.
It's easy to plant a tree. It takes a country to plant forests. Every 10 trees funded has the capacity to absorb over 10 tonnes of CO2 over their lifetime, equivalent to taking two cars off the road.
For each $1.25 contributed, one tree will be planted. We will also keep a running total on our website of individual and group contributors, so you can see your forests grow!
