10 years ago I started volunteering with the Christian Based Non-Profit Organization Hustle PHX. Their motto is... "LET THE HUSTLERS HUSTLE – FOR THE COMMON GOOD." As the organization looks to expand, I am now the Board Chair of Hustle PHX / Hustle USA.
Motivated by Christian faith, their team of staff and volunteers encourage the creation of sustainable business ventures that affirm the dignity of people and lead to the flourishing of all communities in Phoenix. They provide aspiring entrepreneurs in underserved urban communities with the resources and "family culture" needed to start and operate thriving businesses.
While volunteering for the organization, I was fired by my employer. For years I helped teach and coach the Hustle PHX Entrepreneurs, aka "Hustlers," how to start and operate and thriving business, but they showed me what I would need to start my own business...passion.
The passion of the Hustles is contagious. Their energy and commitment to transform their dream into a reality is inspiring. Over 300 businesses have been supported since the organization was started.
I am asking for your help. I would love to see more smiling faces. More Hustlers who transform their entrepreneurial vision it into a full-time occupation that can provide for them and their family. I want to see more people have the opportunity to create generational wealth while transforming communities.
To do this, I will be hiking to the top of Humphrey's Peak near Flagstaff, Arizona to celebrate my 50th Birthday. The Mountain is the highest in Arizona. My plan is to hike to the peak the weekend of September 16, 2023. Would you'd like to join me, please contact me ASAP to be a part of the fun.
