What’s my story?
I have always had a passion for science since I was in middle school. Involved in STEAM(STEM) activities and fairs. My interest continuously grew, in high school I was apart of PLTW program. I’ve completed a mentorship program in STEM as well as internships. These continue to pioneer my STEM interest in college where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
During my many experiences of internships I didn’t quite enjoy the environment that I worked in. This was one of the main reason I started my collegiate entrepreneurial journey. My goal is to create an environment where every culture is welcomed and work feels like something you love doing not something you have to do. While feeling good and looking good, you produce amazing work!
What is MEM?
Monneah's Engineered Materials is a chemical defense manufacturing company that provides PPE for all scientists through material science engineering. Envisioning the empowerment of scientists and protecting them as they do what they love. By providing our 3E's Efficient Protection, Elevated Comfort, and Exclusive Fashion.
Who am I impacting?
We are creating awarness for scientists by acknowledging that there hasn't been a change in our protective gear. It's important to embodied the work inside and out. You can do what you love and look great while doing so.
I am also a representation for minority women by setting the tone that you can do anything you put your mind to!
Why are we crowdfunding?
It’s been one official year since we’ve been in business.It’s almost time to launch and we need finances to market, admin, team building, manufacturing and so much more.
