Deep Green Resistance is an organization dedicated to fighting for a
living planet. Over Earth Day weekend (April 21-23), we’re hosting an
Advanced Direct Action Training just outside of Eugene, OR. We
recognize that our tactics are failing and the climate crisis
is getting worse; this training will focus on nonviolent escalation
tactics and creative resistance strategies to increase our
effectiveness. We need your help to make this training a reality!
Aimed at activists who are tired of ineffective actions and
approaches, workshops and presentations will include Operational
Securty, Soft and Hard Blockades, Anti-Oppression Training, Hit and
Run Tactics, Radical Feminism, Media Training, Legal Support and
Rights Training, and More.
Organizing
a weekend training like this incurs a number of costs--food, lodging,
transportation, and time--and all of these require financial support.
We are asking for your help to empower dedicated, frontline activists
in more effective and more impactful strategies and actions to halt
climate change and the destruction of the planet.
We also hope to offer scholarships for frontline activists
around the country who would like to attend, but may have financial
hardships preventing them from making the trip. This can only happen
when people like you support this cause and help to fight for what you love!
We are asking for donations in any amount to help make this
