Our Story

In the Central Valley, too many students have the curiosity and potential to succeed in technology, but not the access, guidance, or resources to take the next step.

At Bridge Forward Technology’s Technical Training Center, we are launching Kaptiv8, a mentorship and tutoring program designed to close that gap. Kaptiv8 pairs students from Fresno State’s Computer Science Department with middle school and high school students, creating a powerful pipeline of near-peer mentorship, academic support, and real-world exposure to technology careers.

This is where opportunity becomes real.

Through Kaptiv8, students will have a safe, structured environment where they can:

• Receive one-on-one tutoring and mentorship

• Build confidence in technology and problem-solving

• Explore pathways into college and tech careers

Just as important, the Training Center will provide free internet access Monday through Friday, with laptops available for students to complete homework, conduct research, and stay connected, removing one of the most common barriers to academic success.
