Brazilfest will donate a portion of the proceeds from the campaign to the Life for Lives project.
The city of Recife has suffered a natural catastrophe in the last two weeks. 100's of families have lost their homes, cars, and businesses due to this flood. Schools have been completely flooded. Shelters and Daycares have lost their school, food, and resources to help families in extreme poverty. Life for Lives and Brazilfest join forces to raise funds to support local organizations that need our help!

O pandeiro possui uma história antiquíssima, e muitos especialistas remontam sua origem até o Paleolítico. É possível encontrar instrumentos semelhantes a ele em todas as grandes civilizações da história. Ele chegou a Península Ibérica trazido pelos árabes e era usado com frequência em comemorações.
No Brasil, foi trazido por portugueses, e começou a se popularizar nas cerimônias de caráter religioso. Foi adotado pelos escravos, que o usaram em substituição aos seus instrumentos, que eram proibidos. Assim o pandeiro se espalhou por todo Brasil e é um dos símbolos da nossa cultura musical.
Diogo Snow also know by his artist name D-Snow, is an artist born and raised in São Paulo Brazil who currently resides in Toronto. The artist started his career early in his teens in Brazil with street art that grew into a passion. His art is a mix of urban with a twist of modern. He uses a variety of materials to make his paintings stand out such as spray paint, acrylic, prints, leather, epoxies, and crystals.
Diogo Snow has also created murals inside Picasso Mansion in Miami, trending restaurants around the city like Santorini Estiatorio , The Kings Arms a statement art piece inside Vagabondo restaurant and also a tribute mural for Juice WRLD (Universal Music) to name a few. Snow's work has been delivered to Neymar Jr, Ronaldinho, The Megan Stallion, Drake and Justin Bieber.
