Commonwealth Elite Warriors, founded in 2015, is a local 501(c)3 NONPROFIT football and cheerleading sports program, established in Prince William County and now serving the Northern Virginia surrounding areas.
Our mission is to provide a safe and productive atmosphere, focusing on at-risk youth ages 5 through 14. We strive to positively impact and teach our young athletes not only to play football, but to be a student athlete, and interact in community events and work in a teamed environment.
Our program gives kids the opportunity to play football in a highly competitive, but fun environment, where they can continue to develop their football and life skills for the future. The Warrior coaches work hard to teach proper fundamentals & skills enabling their players to take their talent to higher levels and potentially earn college scholarships.
By donating, and/or participating as a sponsor, you will also benefit knowing that you played a part in making a positive impact in your community and specifically a young child’s life.
This year we are expanding our program to provide more stability for families that register. It is our hope to locate a home field for practice and games to give our players a sense of pride and home field advantage. We also will continue to provide a safe environment, including equipment repairs and training for our coaches, including but not limited to concussion training.
Our primary revenue source is player fees paid by families. Since these funds do not cover all expenses, we must raise additional funds to pay for equipment, training, field rentals, referee fees, travel expenses, tournament entry fees, etc.
