DORA was rescued by people who only saved her for the money people pledged so DORA could be vetted. Funds were collected and then they ignored DORA's medical needs for her eyes and skin Neglected as she was no longer generating any income and the moneymakers moved on to another sorry-dog to create more income.
The first pictures are DORA after she had been out of MDAS for over a
month. Because of her neglect she will require ointment in her eyes
for the rest of her life as her tear ducts no longer produce any
tears. She lets her person does this as it makes her feel better.
DORA still needs to be spayed, and have a few masses on her
back removed. She will require surgery on her eyes for distichiasis
(eyelash that grows from an abnormal spot on the eyelids)
