Dear Ministry Friends,
Paul, in Romans 1:16, says, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”It is because of the Gospel, that Tauernhof is partnering with our fellow members of the International Christian Sport Service (ICSS) to conduct an evangelistic outreach during the upcoming World Alpine Skiing Championships (Ski-WM 2013) to be held next-door to Tauernhof on the Planai, February 4-17, 2013. During the 13 days of the Ski-WM 2013, there is projected to be more than 350,000 athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators from around the world who will literally be on Tauernhof’s front doorstep. What an unprecedented opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with thousands as they gather in our village to demonstrate and celebrate the exceptional athletic talent and lives these World Cup athletes possess!As part of the Ski-WM 2013 outreach, the ICSS has adopted the theme, “WM-Life -- Life to the FULL!” based on John 10:10. In addition to the various outreach efforts and events being planned to share Christ and His “Life to the FULL!” with all who will listen, we are publishing a special edition Wintersport-Bibel (Winter Sports Bible) to give out to athletes, coaches, volunteers and spectators. The Bible will contain the New Testament, Proverbs and the evangelistic and Christian stories of 30 different professional alpine athletes from 8 countries.The total budget for the Ski-WM 2013 outreach is 45,000 Euros, including the cost of the Wintersport-Bibel. We are informing and inviting our ministry friends to prayerfully consider financially partnering with us and each other in the Ski-WM 2013 outreach and Wintersport-Bibel project by making a designated outreach gift to Tauernhof. In addition to a general gift of any amount toward the outreach you might prayerfully consider specifically sponsoring one of the 20 outreach evangelism team volunteers in the amount of 300 Euros per week or 600 Euros for both weeks (to cover equipping, food and accommodation costs), or underwriting one or more 10-packs of Wintersport-Bibels in the amount of 99 Euros per 10-pack for distribution during the 13 days of the Ski-WM. Diese Botschaft ist die Kraft Gottes, die jeden rettet, der glaubt...”Das Evangelium ist der Grund dafür, dass der Tauernhof während der Ski-WM 2013 (4. – 17. Februar) zusammen mit unseren Partnern des International Christian Sport Service (ICSS) einen Missionseinsatz durchführen wird. Die Ski-WM 2013 wird direkt neben dem Tauernhof auf der Planai stattfinden. Während dieser 13 Tage werden mehr als 350.000 Zuschauer, Athleten, Trainer und freiwillige Helfer aus der ganzen Welt rund um den Tauernhof versammelt sein. Dies ist eine einzigartige Gelegenheit das Evangelium von Jesus Christus an tausende Menschen weiterzugeben, das unglaubliche Talent der Athleten zu zeigen und ihr erfolgreiches Leben zu feiern.Als Thema unseres Programms haben wir Johannes 10,10: „WM-Life -- Life to the FULL!“ ausgewählt. Zum Einen möchten wir die verschiedenen Missionseinsätze und geplanten Veranstaltungen nutzen um Jesus Christus und sein Leben im Überfluss zu teilen, zum Anderen möchten wir eine Sonderausgabe der Wintersport-Bibel an Athleten, Trainer, freiwillige Helfer und Zuschauer verschenken. Diese Bibel beinhaltet das neue Testament, die Sprüche und evangelistische Zeugnisse und Lebensgeschichten von 30 professionellen internationalen Wintersportlern. Unsere finanziellen Aufwendungen für diesen Missionseinsatz und die Wintersportbibel betragen ca. 45.000.- Euro. Wir möchten Euch herzlich dazu einladen, Euch im Gebet an diesem Projekt zu beteiligen und/oder direkt mit einer Spende daran teilzunehmen. Es ist möglich allgemein für den Missionseinsatz und die Bibel eine beliebige Summe zu spenden, oder einen der 20 freiwilligen Helfer zu sponsern (300.- Euro/ Woche oder 600.- Euro/ beide Wochen, beinhaltet Schulung, Unterkunft und Verpflegung). Wer gezielt das Verschenken der Wintersport-Bibel unterstützen möchte, kann dies z.B. mit einer Spende von 99.- Euro für 10 Bibeln tun.
