I'm Rodger Mitchell, CEO of Gator Lawn and Garden Services LLC in Foreman, Arkansas. We are building a family-operated, for-profit lawn care and property cleanup business, owned by Lynette Mitchell. We want to help neighbors enjoy their yards and create a practical local employment opportunity.
We are seeking $50,000 toward our first equipment package. Every amount helps us move from a plan toward being equipped to work.
Our projected equipment budget is:
- Proposed 2027 John Deere Gator XUV 845R: $40,000 planning allowance, not a dealer quote.
- One remote-controlled tracked mower: $4,384.
- Utility trailer: $2,000.
- Wheeled trimmer: $42.
- Push sweeper: $64.
- Backpack blower: $163.
- Campaign processing fees and acquisition contingency: $3,347.
Total projected campaign target: $50,000.
The John Deere allowance uses the 2026 XUV 845R as a reference: Deere lists a $34,799 base machine price plus $950 destination. The 2027 configuration and final delivered price, including taxes and dealer charges, have not been confirmed. All equipment figures are estimates that may change with quotes, suitability checks and availability. The Gator is a utility vehicle, separate from the mower.
This campaign covers equipment, not our entire startup budget. Insurance, operating costs and readiness still need funding. Our planned January 1, 2027 launch depends on funding, equipment and readiness; we cannot promise that date or paid services in exchange for a contribution.
If we raise less than the target, funds will remain dedicated to suitable business equipment and related acquisition costs while we secure the remaining essentials. We will post updates before changing the equipment scope or use of funds. Purchases will depend on sufficient funding and equipment suitability. Any sponsorship, grant or funds received through another platform for the same costs will be reflected in our combined funding progress so the same purchase is not represented as an unfunded need twice.
This supports a privately owned, for-profit business. It is not a tax-deductible charitable contribution and does not provide ownership, investment returns or a repayment promise. No City, church or manufacturer partnership is confirmed.
