Music education has been one of the areas that tends to be cut out of the school budgets, yet it is one of the most impactful subjects on a child's education. Studies show that children who learn music:
- develop larger vocabularies and advanced reading skills
- score higher on reading and spelling tests
-score higher on standardized tests
- score higher in Math and English
- develop strong fine motor skills
- develop spatial-temporal skills
and those are only a few of the benefits!

For adults, learning music:
- helps relieve stress
- helps with attention span, and memory
- can help lower anxiety, blood-pressure, and heart rate
-helps uplift the mood
-gives you an escape

We want to be able to fill any gaps that may be missing in the school system and bring this fun extracurricular to the children of North Adams and surrounding areas.
We will be providing fun music classes for ALL the age groups at a very affordable price!
But we need your help to get here! You can help us by donating whatever you can so that we can provide this service to you. We just need 500 people to donate $40 in order to hit our goal and make music education accessible for our children.
Right now, Cheshire Baptist Church is allowing us to use their sanctuary for our lessons. But with our new classes that we are creating, we need our own space. But being just a husband and wife team (with 2 little children) we can't do it on our own.
Your donations will be used towards leasing a space, as well as classroom supplies, and instruments that students can rent so that music become accessible for more people.
When you donate, you also subscribe to get updates about the progress of our program, as well as perks for donating certain amounts.
