Cleveland Lead Advocates for Safe Housing hasn't added a story.

Cleveland Lead Advocates for Safe Housing (CLASH) is an all-volunteer, mostly self-funded advocacy coalition which seeks to make Cleveland Lead Safe. CLASH offers four levels of engagement for community members who concerned about lead hazards. Founded in 2019, CLASH conducted a citizen petition to make pre-1978 rental properties lead safe. Facing the will of the people, Cleveland City Council passed the Lead Safe Certificate ordinance.

In 2020, CLASH became a tax exempt non-profit organization reaching out during the pandemic to inform at risk families about lead hazards.

In 2021, CLASH briefed Mayoral and Council candidates on the lead safety issues facing Cleveland. 

Now in 2022, CLASH will be mobilizing around 6 critical lead safety issues.

CLASH donors will receive weekly updates on CLASH Activities and lead safe news from around Cleveland, Ohio, and the US.
