We were asked to
take on 6 flea-ridden kittens after their mother's den was
discovered by a pit bull!
Fortunately, mom
was trapped a few days later. That was just the beginning of our
medical expenses!
Mom was spayed but also needed
to have an eye removed due to an untreated infection. She was
happily reunited with her babies days later and she cared for them
for another three weeks until she became ill and we needed to
separate them from her.
It has been a long road with these babies. Peanut sadly
passed away. Magic needed emergency care after he came down with
severe diarrhea. Tabitha needed fluids and poor Nikki was
hospitalized overnight due to constipation.
As you can imagine, these emergency vet visits have added up
and we are, once again, asking our incredible supporters to help
us handle our unanticipated vet bills for all these unexpected emergencies!
