Christina Moumouri hasn't added a story.
Approximately 8 months ago I couldn't turn my back to two beautiful stray puppies, my Marley and Pepper. I had to take them under my care cause either they would get killed by cars, poisoned, or suffer out in the streets. Few days later when i got them they became very poorly due to parvovirus so they had to stay at vet's fighting for their life and trust me when I say they gave a big fight. Nobody really believed they would survive, especially Pepper! I can feel in my heart that God heard my prayers but also these two really wanted to live! With your financial help and emotional support I manage offer to these two all the care they needed to recover fully and I thank you so much!!
Some time later when they were healthy enough to have their IFAT tests for leishmania, it came back that Marley was negative, but my little Pepper was positive!! I never had before any rescue dog with Leishmania so it was devastated news for me to be in a position provide a very expensive medicine and best care for Pepper and same time worry so much about her as she have been through so much already! However (!!!).....People hugged me and Pepper, I was added in a fantastic group "Living with Leish", I have great support from my vet, great support from a big group of people who advices me and guides me to help Pepper properly and it was with your donations that I actually managed to treat her with Milteforan!!
All these months I struggle to keep them safe as nobody has
offered a home to any of them which breaks my heart watching them grow
inside a cage, but at least I know they are safe, fed, cared and
loveed deeply by me until someone will open their heart and home to
them!!
One day recently i received some amazing news!!...Marley
reserved for adoption!! And when you think " thank God at last
smt is working positive for these two", another bad news comes to
add to their probs. Marley had another IFAT test (approx 7 months
after the first one) and it came back positive!! So now he is in need
also for Milteforan for which i realy need your help again!!!
Then, I have my little Alfie!! A wonderful beagle boy that i found on my way to kennels being very very poorly. He had 4dx test and he was positive to erlichia for which he was treated and now he is a happy lively boy waiting for someone to offer him a loving home! But until then I need to keep him safe as well and since there are no foster homes with space, kennels is the only alternative safe option!
So I am actually begging you to help us keep these three dogs
safe who have nobody else in the world but us! And also to help me pay
for Marley's treatment (Milteforan)!
I still need 190 euro
balance for their boarding fees and 270 euro for milteforan and the
blood/biochemical tests Marley had to do!
Every little help and receipts always follows!
