Droopy the sweet, loveable Basset Hound needs your help! Droopy came to Rural Dog Rescue emaciated with 2 antibiotic resistant ear infections, and a terrible eye infection. He was a poorly loved and poorly taken care of hound. Since coming to our rescue, Droopy has proven over and over that even though he doesn't feel well, he will still cuddle with you and cheer you up with his hound howl.
Droopy is currently unable to keep kibble down. He throws up his food even up to 12 hours after. He is unable to gain the weight his body so desperately needs. He has constant diarrhea and his symptoms have stumped the emergency vets!
We need help taking the next step for this sweet, loveable dog. He needs an endoscopy to see if there is anything like cancer in his intestines! We love this dog so much, and he has overcome a lot in his short (3 years!) life.
