No More Waiting After 12: Build Our Sensory & After-School Hub

Inclusive after-school, 1-to-1 tech mentoring, and sensory-friendly spaces for autistic young people (12+) and adults—so families can work and talents can shine.

We founded Beyond Boundaries Rise CIC because we are parents of autistic children and teenagers—and we lived the gap ourselves. After age 12, activities disappear and reliable after-school options are rare. Many autistic adults—especially those with phobias or higher sensory needs—need calm, indoor-first spaces. Talents go unseen; parents struggle to keep jobs. We built Beyond Boundaries Rise to change the story.

What we do

• After-School Club (12–18), Mon–Fri 3:30–6:30pm: structured, sensory-friendly sessions.
• Adult Pathways (18+), Tue & Thu 10:00–1:00: life skills + digital confidence.
• 1-to-1 Tech Mentoring (12+): calm, focused support for coding, typing, media.
• Sensory Room & Quiet Hours: bookable regulation time with low-stim resources.
• Social Saturdays: small-group hangouts that build confidence and friendships.

Goal: £250,000   

Use of funds

• 40% Sensory room & calming resources (panels, fibre optics, tactile kits).
• 30% Digital hub (accessible laptops/tablets, headsets, learning software).
• 20% Bursary places for low-income families (after-school & 1-to-1 tech).
• 10% Safeguarding & training (enhanced DBS, autism-informed training).

What your donation does

• £15 → session resources (visuals, sensory aids, learning materials)
• £25 → 30 min of 1-to-1 tech mentoring
• £45 → one bursary place at after-school club
• £90 → two bursary places (siblings or two sessions)
• £250 → sensory room equipment (tactile kit / fibre optics)
• £500 → accessible laptop + setup for the digital hub
• £1,000 → a month of bursary access for one learner
