Hello, we are a Graphic Design company located in Columbia, SC.  and our daughter is an aspiring artist.  She is a beautiful, shy, 13 year old who loves to draw.  Her art teacher in school does not feel that she or the other 15 out of the 17 students in her class have the talent to pursue art at a profession.  Unfortunately, this is a very common occurrence.   

     Confidence comes from those small successes, but as a child it is very hard to look at the big picture in some situations.  And for a child who works hard through the mandatory subjects of Math, Science, Social Studies, and ELA, just to get to what they consider to be the best class of the day, it can be heartbreaking to not succeed.  Doubt, just like confidence, starts small.  And once this art teacher sets that doubt into these children, their options become limited.  It's not because they can't do it, it's because they have been told that they can't.

     Here is where we come in, as i stated earlier, my daughter is in this type of situation.  But thankfully because i am a designer, she gets the benefit of constructive criticism, assistance, positive reinforcement and praise.  And we would like to provide this to every child that has an interest in art.  We have set up a page on our website where middle school children (Grade 6th to 8th) can fill out a short questionnaire and upload their art.      The money from this fundraiser will purchase each child (hopefully) that fills out that form a HP i7 laptop, The Adobe creative products suite, and tutorials and stock art for 1 year from envato.  Along with that, myself and several of my colleagues who actually work in these fields from day to day will be available to help in whatever ways we can.  

     If you do decide to donate, we will be giving away a free t-shirt for every donation.  However if you will need the shirt shipped to you please donate $7 or more for small through XL and $10 or more for 2XL through 6XL.  We will start accepting student submissions January 3rd, 2018 until the last day of school 2018.  Please keep in mind that we are a FOR PROFIT business, who is donating not only our time but our resources.
