Keep Nancy Johnson's Legacy Alive by supporting Bereavement Services for patients and families at Vancouver Hospice!

Nancy Johnson worked as a volunteer in the HOB (Hospice Opportunity Boutique), raising funds for compassionate end of life care at the Vancouver Hospice Society. Then, after six years devoting herself to the cause, Nancy was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and became a resident at the hospice that her work had funded.

"It’s an interesting thing about volunteering," Nancy said "Volunteering gives you a different family. A new family. I love the one I've got, but this has given me an additional family. and they come by". As her relatives and her volunteer family visited, Nancy saw first-hand how badly support is needed for people who are experiencing the loss of a loved one. That is why she began a movement to raise money for VHS bereavement support services from her bedside.

Please give to the Nancy Johnson Bereavement Support Legacy Fund and Share this story with friends and family!

The goal of $30,000.00 is the yearly cost of professional psychosocial support for patients and their families.
