The Glad Tidings Community Outreach Corporation (G.T.C.O.C.) has been organized for the following purpose(s): To operate exclusively for religious, charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code of 1986. The mission of the G.T. Community Outreach Corporation is: To provide community outreach mentoring services to women and children in need of an independent living transition back into the community. "We are the helping hands that help people." We have two major mandates that we need your help with; G.T. Community Outreach Corporation is partnered with SAVE AMERICA'S CHURCHES.
#1- Our vision is to help "SAVE AMERICA'S CHURCHES" purchase between twenty and thirty churches per month for the foreseeable future, to preserve our Christian institutions and bring a reformation and revival to our cities, towns and communities all over America.
Who is Save America's Churches? We are businessmen and businesswomen, clergy and priests, lawyers and bankers, doctors and dentists, truck drivers and teachers, accountants and airline pilots, common people...you and me. We are determined to save America and her Christian churches by donating, working, volunteering, giving, serving, helping, and facilitating our communities from sea to shining sea.
Our strategic plan is a bold one. We believe that we can raise $100,000,000.00 dollars and leverage that into saving churches in your neighborhoods. We will not only save the buildings, but we intend to seek young ministers who have a heart for missions and give them an opportunity to re-open churches as they help us reawaken America's faith!
Your investment will go toward the purchase of foreclosed and/or abandoned Christian churches throughout America. You will be part of an army of people who are unwilling to give up on America's heritage of Christianity. Help GTCOC as we partner with "SAVE AMERICA'S CHURCHES"!
#2 The Glad Tidings Community Outreach Center's general fuction will be:
- To provide a free and a discounted food distribution program for households in need.
- To provide a free drinking water distribution program for households in need.
- To provide a temporary shelter for victims of a disaster crisis, especially women and children in need.
- To provide free and discounted first and second hand clothing for persons in need.
- To provide a free and discounted health care clinic, supervised by a certified nurse practitioner for those in need of medical attention.
- To provide volunteer chaplain services for person with family members incarcerated within the inner city of Birmingham, Jefferson County,and the State of Alabama.
- To provide constructive educational mentoring to women and children in need.
Thousands of people, most of them innocent children, are at risk in the Birmingham metro area due to the worst economic resession crisis in 60 years. The Internet has come to a point where when we simply collectively reach out for what we think is right, real change often follows. You can join the G.T.
