What We’re Raising Funds to Do
We’re raising funds to bring Coffini’s—our delicious vegan, coffee-infused probiotic mini muffins—to the world!
Our goal is to produce our first small-scale batch, finalize sustainable packaging, and launch Coffini’s through direct-to-consumer sales. These funds will allow us to manufacture, ship, and market the first wave of Coffini’s so that coffee lovers and snack enthusiasts everywhere can enjoy an energizing, better-for-you treat.
Why We Care About This
As twins and co-founders of Baskerville Bites, we grew up liking great snacks—but most “grab-and-go” treats were packed with sugar, artificial ingredients, or lacked real energy. Meanwhile, coffee lovers had few options beyond sugary drinks or plain brewed coffee. We knew there had to be a better way to enjoy an energizing snack, so we created Coffini’s, a vegan coffee-infused probiotic mini muffin that provides a delicious caffeine boost (equal to 1 shot of espresso) without the sugar crash.
We believe snacking should be both functional and fun, and with Coffini’s, we’re on a mission to change how people eat their coffee, lol.

We’re Markee and Marcus Baskerville, twin entrepreneurs and founders of Baskerville Bites. With backgrounds in business and dreams, we’ve spent years building companies that blend creativity, impact, and innovation.

Risks & Challenges for Coffini’s Campaign
At Coffini’s, we are dedicated to bringing you a delicious, energizing, and convenient coffee-infused mini muffin. However, launching a new food product comes with challenges. Here’s what we anticipate and how we plan to overcome them:
1. Manufacturing & Production Delays 🏭
Risk: Scaling production from small test batches to full-scale manufacturing could result in unexpected delays, supply chain disruptions, or quality control issues.
Solution: We are partnering with experienced, vegan-certified co-packers with proven track records in the CPG industry. We will secure ingredient suppliers in advance and maintain safety stock to minimize disruptions.
2. Shipping & Fulfillment 🚚
Risk: Shipping delays due to high demand, supply chain disruptions, or international logistics issues.
Solution: We are working with trusted 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners to streamline shipping and avoid delays. We will also prioritize early backers to ensure timely delivery and provide frequent updates if any unexpected delays arise.
3. FDA & Labeling Compliance 📜
Risk: As a packaged food product, Coffini’s must comply with FDA regulations, ingredient labeling, and potential certification processes (organic, gluten-free, vegan).
Solution: We have consulted with food compliance experts to ensure all legal and labeling requirements are met before production. We will also apply for third-party certifications (Vegan, Organic, etc.) in a timely manner.
4. Customer Satisfaction & Scaling Demand 💡
Risk: If demand exceeds our expectations, scaling production fast enough to fulfill all orders may be challenging.
Solution: We will set a realistic Kickstarter goal and work closely with our manufacturer to prepare for different demand levels. If demand exceeds capacity, we will provide transparent timelines and stretch goal strategies to manage growth effectively.
5. Marketing & Retail Expansion 📢
Risk: Entering the highly competitive CPG snack market and standing out against larger brands could be a challenge.
Solution: We will leverage influencer partnerships, social media marketing, and direct-to-consumer sales strategies to build brand awareness. We are also exploring retail partnerships and Amazon FBA for future scaling.
6. Ingredient & Price Fluctuations 📈
Risk: The cost of coffee, organic ingredients, or packaging materials may fluctuate, impacting our pricing and margins.
Solution: We will lock in supplier contracts early and maintain a buffer in our funding to cover cost fluctuations. Additionally, we will explore alternative sustainable packaging solutions to keep costs stable.
7. Funding Goals & Execution 💰
Risk: If we do not meet our funding goal, production may be delayed or limited.
Solution: We have built a strong pre-launch strategy including email outreach, social media campaigns, and influencer partnerships. Our funding goal is carefully calculated to cover the essentials, and we have backup financing options if needed.
