Save-An-Angel 501(c)3 non-profit, foster based, animal rescue in New Orleans. CALLING ALL SAINTS: There is a 5 month old puppy at the LA-SPCA with 2 broken front legs. His name is Winston and he's incredibly sweet & loving despite all he's been through. We have a foster in place and a receiving rescue ready to take Winston once he's healed. The only thing missing are funds to get Winston the medical care he needs.

Save-An-Angel CAN ONLY HELP WINSTON WITH FUNDING IN PLACE. Our estimate is that he will cost around $5,000 at the clinics in our area.  All donations are tax deductible. ***IF YOU KNOW OF A DOCTOR WHO WILL DO THIS SURGERY AT A LOW COST PLEASE LET US KNOW***At this point we aren't sure exactly what the surgery will cost, because none of the vets are able to give us a quote with the X-Ray's alone (see photos below). In general orthopedics run extremely high in our area. WE WILL UPDATE THE FUNDRAISER (Higher or Lower) ONCE WINSTON SEE'S THE VET NEXT WEEK. We hope to raise at least $2500 before pulling him. 

We have a foster in place, and a receiving rescue ready to take Winston once he's healthy. However, a bill this size is the equivalent of vetting and transporting at least 20 dogs, and we can't move forward without some financial backing iin place.  We desperately want to get this baby out of the shelter and into a loving home where he can begint to heal.
