Mercer Animal Rescue takes in dog & cats that are without a home. We rescue from high kill shelters and also take pets that are no longer able to be cared for by they owners.
In the last four years we have rescued over 1,000 animals. Gotten them the medical atytention needed and found them loving homes. Here in the south we are overpopulated with dogs and cats. Most shelters have an 80%+ euthanasia rate. Simply because they do no thave the space.
Our rescue desparately needs new dog houses. Winter is coming and we need a safe, dry, warm house for the dogs. Our current dog houses were donated 4 or 5 years ago by a very kind man that built them for us. Many dogs have stayed in these houses over the years. But they are falling apart and we need to buy new ones.
We need your donations to help purchase new houses. Your donations are what keeps the rescue going and allows us to keep saving lives.
