Lucy was abandoned to starve as a 5 pound puppy in rural South Carolina. She was dumped off by the man who found her at Petco while Dog4U was holding an event there. After her first vet visit it was determined that she had cherry eye that required surgical repair and that she was parasite ridden. Lucy expelled nothing other than worms and sand for the first 24 hours. It took another day for the puppy food to start being processed. Lucy has gained enough weight to have her cherry eye surgery and her spay. Please consider supporting this tiny girl’s fight to become totally healthy in order to prepare her for a forever home.
