Quick Story is "Chloe' has a Wish List" A soft, very soft & snugly bed - one I can curl right up into. Blankies, the soft & fuzzy ones... Ones that make you not want to get out of bed!, A pretty pink or purple collar with a matching leash. Toys: both stuffed ones that squeak & stimulation toys... Like Chuck-it balls, a clunky rubber football, rope toys, puzzles, Kong's, anything that can help self entertain, snuggle with or my humans can toss me. My step foster brother & dad throw me toys to fetch. I love playing with them but I won't play with my mom. Not sure why, maybe I just like that they can throw far ... IDK!! Grain Free Snacks - I'm on a grain free diet & eating lots of protein so I have to keep the same diet. I would love a huff bone from Brown & Budnicks $3.00 or some 'all natural bully sticks from Walgreens' $5.99 for a 6 pack!! If you think of anything you want to get me, that would be pretty cool too.
--- my story --- Hi, my name is Chloe, I am the latest orphan at Animal Rescue Network of New England (ARNNE). I arrived at ARNNE about two weeks ago, at least that's what the humans tell me. I had a family but when they fell on hard times, I was one of them and well, that's why I am here. I am still a puppy, only a year and a half old ... Ok, ok ... I'm not a puppy anymore - (but I'm not older than a toddler). I was adopted out when I was about 3 months old. For a long time, I had my own stuff... I had my own bed, a few actually ... Some on the floor and some my humans. Since I have no human beds, I am writing a wish list for a few things just for me.... Chloe. See, as an orphan, you get all the hand me down beds, blankets, toys, collars ... and treats! I'm not complaining tho because I'm sharing someone else's story. I can't go to a new families home yet. I wasn't trained that well so my house manners are poor. I jump on people all the time. I sometimes grab their pant legs to play tug-o-war, I get over excited & don't know how to calm myself down yet. Oh, and I have anxiety and separation anxiety! Right!!! So, on Saturday, I moved into a foster home, one I was fostered at as a puppy actually. Well, I'm camping back there now. My foster mom picked me up some yummy Fromm, Grain Food from Beaver Valley Farm (BVF) and she got me two new toys there too - the rescue paid for my new stuff. At my foster house, I sleep on a kurtanda bed with some blankets on top or I just sleep on the floor mats. I didn't like one of the kurtanda beds because it was in a crate & I don't like them (spent too much time in before).... So my mom stole Gronks big kurtanda off the deck that his pal Brutus gave him and mom is leaving the other one inside the crate with the door open. She says that I may like to have that as my private space again someday. So, I was wondering, since my stuff is all used, would you help me get some stuff that's JUST MINE, all mine.... I have to have training before I can go to a new home which is going to cost the rescue a lot already, and my mom has already bought me a few packs of bully sticks, some Medicine and paying for food to help get me more protein, so she's already paying a lot for me. So hopefully you might be able to buy me a snack or something... Just to have my own stuff, would help me feel I have a nice fresh start, a nice beginning ahead. Thanks my friends .... Chloe
