Jack is running the Great North Run for Keith's Rescue Dogs Charity in Lincolnshire who rescue & rehome abandoned dogs from destruction (death row dogs) in the council pound. Jack chose to support KRD as 100% of funds raised go to the welfare of the dogs.

"I have chosen to enter the Great North Run with KEITHS RESCUE DOGS as my charity of choice for a few reasons, the most obvious of which being my love of dogs, I have always had dogs at my parents house since being born and many of them have come from rescue centres. My parents currently have four dogs .

Since I grew up and left Skegness and went to university and subsequently started work I have lived in cities in flats so have been unable to keep a dog myself which is something that I miss greatly.

The Charity costs £10,000 a month to run - I know they have a Charity shop which helps to fund a lot of this - they need a Security Camera; it would make me feel really good to be able to help them by raising in the region of £500 to buy this for them.
It is particularly pleasing to see that KEITHS RESCUE DOGS is run completely by volunteers, no wages and no expenses are taken/paid, I think that people will be pleased to know that 100% of their donation is going towards the welfare of the dogs."
