I am reaching out to you on behalf of Li Liu Small Animals Rescue Camp in Harbin City in China.   I have been following Ms Liu’s work from YouTube for sometime and admire how she has been working tirelessly for more than 15 years to rescue countless beautiful homeless, injured, abandoned and tortured animals from the streets of China and from trucks where dogs were carried off to be sold openly in the market for human consumption.  It truly is heart breaking to see these helpless animals being dragged into such horrible situation.

 Despite the sad reality, I was impressed to see so many people within China and around the globe with Chinese connections sharing this same passion with Ms Liu.  Currently, Ms Liu’s Rescue Camp has 4,000+ dogs being rescued from heartbreaking circumstances.  Due to the lack of resources, Ms Liu has to make tough decisions whether to “rescue” the dogs that were brought to her attention or cut back on food supply for the furry animals.

 The video from You Tube was taken when Ms. Liu rescued 50 dogs from “a dog owner” on April 7.  These dogs would have been sold to dog traffickers for human consumption had she not taken action to redeem them.  

 The long term goal for Ms Liu is to see these deserving dogs being adopted locally or overseas.  Plans are underway to collaborate with International dog rescue organizations to help these helpless animals as they all deserve a second chance in life.  

In the meantime, will you consider feeding one, two, three or more dogs at $1 a day as there is an immediate need to buy food as the operating budget is running at an all time low?
