Our Focus and mission of The Alliance~ The Justin Bloxom Alliance for Innocence is an official Non-Profit Child Abuse and Neglect Organization Non-Profit ID# 27-3777350 Purpose & Initiatives & Mission; Legislative changes for convicted sex offenders, and introducing The Justin Bloxom Act to all States. Internet and cell phone safety education in schools, while working in conjunction with Organizations such as School Officials, School Boards, Law Enforcement, ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children), Sheriff’s Safety Town for Kids, and other Child Abuse Agencies. Our goal through fundraising and donations are to educate the public on child abuse symptoms, prevention, intervention, statistics, reporting and helping victims and families locate the proper resources to achieve full recovery. We coordinate and fund educational materials on the following; Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, Child Abuse Awareness and Education, Cell phone and Internet Safety, Personal Safety, Child abuse signs and symptoms, abduction prevention, Child abuse reporting, Intervention and Recovery. We also provide counseling and resource materials and references. We fund educational litature, brochures, educational fliers, child abuse brochures, post cards with hotlines and resources available for all form of child abuse, Educational postcards, Adult packets filled with information, education, prevention methods, symptoms, reporting, safety form check list, how to talk to your child at age appropriate levels about their body and what to do if ANYONE tries to touch them in any way that makes them feel uncomfortable or in any area that would generally be covered by a bathing suit, official forms to have and fill out for law officials for “just in case” situations, what to do if your child goes missing and much more. For children we have a 24 page coloring and activity book (along with crayons) to be read to by an adult on personal safety and “My Body” education. At the end there is an adult/child quiz on “the things that we have learned” in this activity book along with a pledge card to sign by the child stating “This is my body” and if anyone touches me in a way that makes me uncomfortable or tries to make me keep a secret….I PROMISE TO TELL SOMEONE THAT I TRUST TO HELP ME. We also plan to provide an annual scholarship at Justin’s School for a graduating senior at North DeSoto High School, a victim's advocate fund, creation of collateral material, and establishment of a Memorial Garden.
