Hello, my name is Evangelist Kathleen Watkins. I serve as the youth adviser for my local church, Greater Mt. Zion, as well as District Youth President. 
Every year, The Church of God in Christ gathers in one place for one of our large conventions. This convention consists of five different departments, Music, Youth, Sunday School, Missions, and Evangelism. During this gathering, young people from all over the globe come together to meet for 5 days full of spiritual growth, education, volunteer opportunities, career opportunities, and so much more. This year, our convention has come a little close to home, and we will be converging on the city of Baltimore, Maryland, July 6 to the 11th. It is the desire of myself, our local youth president, Katrice Harrison and other youth staff to take our young people to share the experience of this great and life-changing event. I personally, have been attending this same convention since I was about 11 years old and because of it, I have made friends that have lasted a lifetime and have had experiences that have impacted me both as a Christian and just a young woman. We have already begun fundraising efforts and yet we still need your  help in our endeavors to raise funds. This will ensure our youth are able to have that same, Great experience.
