Welcome to the 15th Annual Kalkan Coastal Community Swim – 11th October 2025
We’re excited to welcome you to this year’s swim, now under a new name: Kalkan Coastal Community Swim (KCCS). Along with the new name comes a new, safer route. We will no longer be swimming from Mouse Island—this year, all distances will take place within the stunning and sheltered Kalkan Bay.
There’s a swim for everyone, with four distance options to suit all abilities:

6KM, 4KM, and 2KM swims will start from Lures

The 800m swim will begin at Yali Beach Club

All swims will finish at Kalkan Public Beach
KCCS continues the proud charitable tradition of the Mouse Island Swim. This year, the funds raised will support several meaningful local projects, including:

Supporting AKUT, our incredible safety partners on the water

Providing essential funding for Kinik School

Creating shade for Islamlar Community Hall

Supplying gymnastics equipment for the Kalkan Gymnastics Club

Finishing the music room at Fen Lisesi (Akbel School)

Over the past five years, your efforts have helped raise over £90,000—an incredible achievement. We understand ongoing sponsorship can be challenging, so this year swimmers can choose between raising sponsorship or paying a one-off entry fee:

6KM and 4KM: £40 + sponsorship, or £140 total

2KM and 800m: £20 + sponsorship, or £120 total
Finally, this year’s event marks the last swim as chief organiser for our founder and leader, Chris Davies. Let’s make it a truly memorable one in his honour!
