Savage Minds hasn't added a story.
Journalism is under assault today. Aside from being one of the toughest jobs out there because of political anger that can lose subscribers for running a piece with which readers disagree or the tumultuous terrain of "optics feminism" and other poltical purity tests, the survival of journalists economically is rough going. We need to raise funds today! You may or may not be one of our subscribers, but if you read our magazine or listen to our podcast, please consider supporting our work so that we might continue to produce our show and magazine.
Investigative journalistic pieces usually take anywhere from several
weeks to two months to produce and they usually involve FOI requests,
myriad interviews, research, fact-checking and then the writing and
editing process. Here are some of our recent pieces that were quite
popular among our readership: "Rainbow Washing
Women Out of Existence" investigated how marketing and PR
strategies create men like Dylan Mulvaney to pump up a faltering
market (Bud Light) and to "awoken" their client base
(Nike). Our piece "
Anatomy of the
Near Murder of Kellie-Jay Keen" examined the mobs in New
Zealand that came very close to taking human life while buttressed
ideology from the so-called "left feminists" who use
defamation to stoke their faltering narrative as Keen is clearly
winning over the base of working-class women and invoking leftist
action on the streets. And "The End of Press
Freedom?" investigates how legacy media is propogating
ideology when covering the issue of gender ideology while interpreting
how British organisations like Independent Press Standards
Organisation (IPSO), Office of Communications (Ofcom) and the
National Union of Journalists (NUJ) are forcing journalists to break
their own ethics of integrity and veracity. This last piece
represents months of research and interviews with mainstream
journalists, press corps heads and legal experts.
