Four cats were found in a box in Waterbury this week, with no place to go and they needed help fast. We were contacted and we couldn't say no to these poor guys. We have taken the cats in and all are receiving medical attention. These cats are all underweight (they're 6lvs each and should be close to 10 lbs) and we believe they must have scratched one another while in the sealed cardboard box as the scratches are fresh. They were starving and very thirsty. All have tested negative for FIV and FeLeuk. They're estimated to be around 3-4 years old. Once they've had time to recover and are cleared by the vet, they'll all be looking for homes.
