ENGLISH VERSION

Who are we?

We are about ten committed activists, from diverse backgrounds and movements, united by a common cause: social and environmental justice. In June 2024, we organized the first edition of our ecofeminist antispecist festival, followed by a second edition the following year.

In June 2025, we co-organized Terres de Résistance, a decolonial ecology event in collaboration with the Lebanese collective Biodiversity ya habibi and Lyon-based collectives - Urgence Palestine, Action Justice Climat - focusing on environmental risks in Lebanon facing Israeli attacks.

Following the Israeli aggressions in Lebanon in September 2024 and thanks to your support, we raised over 3000 euros for local initiatives.

Our mission

Our decolonial ecofeminist antispecist initiative reminds us that the Lebanese cause - as the Palestinian, Iranian, Sudanese, Congolese - is inseparable from our struggles.

With over 1 million displaced people and 500 people killed by the Israeli army since the escalation of attacks in Lebanon on March 2, it is imperative to act.

We must recognize our ethical responsibility and provide concrete support to local initiatives helping those affected on the ground.

This is why, alongside Urgence Palestine Lyon and LIÉ•E•S, we are coming together to support Lebanese collectives that work tirelessly to provide food aid, care, and shelter to displaced people.

We cannot ignore the devastating impact of this war. People's fundamental rights are seriously threatened by the incessant bombings and invasion by the Israeli army, triggering a true humanitarian and ecological catastrophe.

Why this fundraiser?

We chose to support four essential local organizations, motivated by our direct connection with them - one of our activists having lived in Lebanon. This direct experience of their impact strengthens our commitment to supporting them:

Barzakh , a café located in Hamra, Beirut, transformed into a solidarity shelter, works tirelessly to provide iftar to more than 1,500 displaced people during the bombings in the midst of Ramadan.

Jeyetna  and  Migrant Workers Action  in collaboration with the collective Reclaim Our Rights (ROR) work hand in hand to address the menstrual emergency in Lebanon that migrant women face - a consequence of the massive waves of expulsion of hundreds of thousands of people within days, following the invasion by the Zionist army.

Menstrual cycles don't stop during wartime! Stress, cold, lack of products, and the discomfort of displacement, on the streets or in shelters, worsen menstrual pain and can cause irregularities.

Jeyetna collects donations to support ROR collectives that help different migrant women communities in Lebanon, providing them with: disposable/reusable pads/underwear, menstrual cups, tampons, hot water bottles, painkillers, and informational pamphlets.

Egna Legna Besidet  ("us migrants, for us migrants" in Amharic) which works constantly to provide food, mattresses, sanitary pads, and other essential products to domestic workers throughout Lebanon who are victims of the kafala system*.

Buzuruna Juzuruna ("our seeds are our roots") is an agro-ecological farm school located in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. It houses a library of farm seeds and is currently working to urgently supply vegetables and cereals to community kitchens feeding the people who have been displaced. It also supplies local initiatives with farmers' seeds, the cornerstone of food sovereignty.

Let's act together

The situation is critical, so we call for your support. Every donation, whatever the amount, can make a significant difference for those affected. If you cannot donate, share our campaign to raise awareness about this crucial cause. Together, let's make our voices heard and take action.

ITALIAN VERSION

Chi siamo?
