This Year, For My Birthday, I Ask Not For Gifts, But a Donation to Love Wild Horses ( Wild Horse Protection Act on FB & IG)
Over 40 years ago, (Ha Ha, I’m not going to date myself 😂) my love & respect for horses was ignited by the pony in this photo!
Now, I volunteer as the National Coordinator for the 501c3, Love Wild Horses and am working around the clock to help get funding to open more Supported Equine Rewilding, Wildfire Protection & Climate Change Mitigating, Ecological Land Revitalization Studies, each saving more at-risk wild horses from horrific death by slaughter and putting them back on protected land to forever roam free in peace, never at risk of roundups again!
Love Wild Horses is a grassroots nonprofit, saving at-risk wild horses with a groundbreaking first-of-its-kind supported equine rewilding wildfire and climate change-land revitalization study. LWH's study's vision is to bring much-needed science forward that wild horses naturally gift for wildlands, wild ones, Mother Earth, and humanity.
LWH is connecting with tribes and working with private land owners to accomplish their larger vision to create four more studies on tribal, private, state, or trust lands in four different climate regions.
As we bring science forward, with hope the last of America’s 100,000 wild horses may be freed from biased policy that is fueling their unnecessary mass removal, incarceration, and export to barbaric slaughter, of these iconic treasures, whose presence heals and protects wild ones, wild places, Mother Earth, and humanity- To help Wild Horses be granted to survive and remain free, supporting our ecological studies is one way you can help us bring science forward, that indicates wild horses are a gift, not a curse, for all stake holders.
