Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Allston-Brighton Mutual Aid has provided essential assistance to residents of the twin Boston neighborhoods of Allston-Brighton. Allston-Brighton is a thriving community made up of families, immigrants, students, activists, punks,  young professionals,  and everyone in between. However, the per capita incomes of both Allston and Brighton are below both Boston on average and Massachusetts on average. Folks here have been hit hard by COVID due to a variety of factors, whether it's service workers losing their jobs, immigrants not being able to receive benefits or the stimulus, or low-income people facing the strain of paying for essentials like rent and groceries.

Your donation will help contribute to help folks during the COVID-19 crisis, including but not limited to:

- providing groceries and fresh produce to families and individuals

- help towards rent, phone bills, medical copays, and other regular expenses

- help contribute to tenant organizing to prevent evictions and landlord abuses

- assist in deliveries of groceries, hot food, prescriptions, and other essential items
