American Bulldog Rescue has been around since 1999 and are usually prepped to take on a special needs dog or 2 but we have had a few extra surprises in the past few months. We have had quite a few seniors with their major issues, bug bites that require surgeries, heartworm treatments, mass/tumor removals, behavior consults, trainers, daycare socialization, boarding and just the every day large breed spaying/neutering, supplements and preventatives.
We recently accepted 2 females from Philly Animal Control and both have orthopaedic issues. 2 year old Cattie has a torn right cruciate ligament and some hip displaysia and 1 and a half year old Dakota has a torn right ligamant in her hock.
Cattie loves every person and dog she meets, outgoing and silly are the 2 best words to describe her. Cattie is trying to build up muscles and strength with physical therapy. It seems as though she didn't have the best life before coming to us. She had no strength and a dull coat. Dakota was never socialized and is a little fearful of strangers and can not use her right hind leg.

Both girls could use your help to raise enough money to have their issues corrected and get them ready for their new lives with new families. Right now we are looking to scheudule their surgeries. Please help support them.
