Like we mentioned back on our site, Animal Nation is very close to our hearts and we love giving back to things we care about. We know not everyone can foster or adopt so by donation money you are giving these animals a chance they otherwise would not have. You are saving them in so many ways with a warm place to sleep, food for a full stomach, much needed medical attention to just showing them how much love is out there. Nola is the one foster we could not part with and has made our little family complete. This photo is from the first day we started fostering Nola. Here is just a little info on the group: Animal Nation (http://animalnation.org) is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization. We do our part to help the animals who cannot help themselves. Our group started with wildlife rescue in 2001 and has since expanded to include farm and domestic animal rescue and adoption, focusing primarily on cats and kittens. The goal of our Wildlife Rehab program is to provide vet care and rehabilitate wild orphans and injured wildlife with intent to release them back into the wild. The primary goal of our adoption program is placing the discarded animals in our local community into loving, permanent homes.

Our rescue animals come from a variety of situations ranging from trapped or found litters of kittens that we spend weeks socializing to owner surrenders, to animals dumped in a box at the door of veterinary offices or the local pounds. We help as many as we financially and physically can, however, we are a small group and must limit our numbers to ensure quality rescue and welfare of animals above all else. We are an all-volunteer group, relying solely on donations to help the fur-souls we rescue.

Our modest adoption fees barely cover the routine vetting we provide for each animal, let alone the food, supplies and/or any additional vet care needed if they are sick or have an existing health problem.
