Our fundraising on this platform is wrapping up with a mandated
deadline at the end of the month, just a few days from now.
Thanks to you it has been a success way beyond our expectations
($20,000+ as of today). You have helped fund hundreds of hours of
transmissions of RFE/RL and VOA radio programs in Russian and
English at a critical time. The transmission stations have regularly
received reports from listeners in Russia and Ukraine letting them
know the broadcasts are getting through and are appreciated.
There is more to come for about a couple of months, at least, as
based on current projections we have enough funds to continue to pay
for transmissions until mid-June. Hopefully we will find alternative
means to carry on beyond then. This has all been accomplished by the
generosity of people such as yourself -- a true grassroots campaign
with no paid staff and all donations coming from individuals.
