Sorry to post again so soon, but we have a couple of important updates. 

Our first test transmission of RFE/RL Russian-language programming will occur tonight at 21:00 EST (02:00 UTC) from WRMI (Radio Miami International) beaming to Eastern Europe on 7.780 MHz. If you know anyone in that part of the world, spread the word. Even if they don't have a shortwave radio, perhaps they have a neighbor or friend who does. 

Again, we are working to get crowdfunded transmissions very soon using medium wave (AM), as well from a transmitter close enough to Russia, Ukraine and Poland to reach VOA's targeted audiences. 

And, best news of the day...we have a first mainstream media publicity about what we all have accomplished. Congratulations to every one of you. This is your story:
