Running to Raise the Roof is the latest fundraiser for Hope for Orphans International. A small registered charity working to provide for children in poverty.
Our latest project is to repair the structural damage to the orphanage we support in Uganda.

HFOI is a small registered charity run by  two mums with a passion to see change for children suffering the injustice of poverty.

Currently, we are working in Mpigi, Uganda and have partnered with an existing Ugandan organisation. We support the orphanage and school governed by them. The orphanage cares for 14 orphans who have suffered neglect and abandonment incomprehensible to us in the first world. Children who now have transformed lives due to the support of people like yourself!

Our current project is to repair the building of the orphanage. The walls are unstable, the roof is rotten and leaking and the current brick work houses fleas despite fumigation. The flea bites are causing wounds for the children which are getting infected due to the suboptimal hygiene. Concreting these walls are replacing part of the roof will ensure these precious children have a safe home. This needs to happen now!!!

We we are seeking donations towards this project, your sponsorship towards the runner you are supporting will make such a difference. Nothing is to small and 100% of your money will go towards this cause! Admin fees are paid personally by the charity president.

Please note that as the amount raised is transferred overseas we are unable to provide tax receipts for rebates under NZ law.

Thank you so much for partnering with us, follow us on Facebook to see the change your donation will make.
