The mission of Lucky Dog Rescue is to:
• rescue dogs off of the euthanasia list of high kill shelters in the Phoenix AZ metro area, get them spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and adopt them out to new loving forever homes.
• rehabilitate and train dogs that needs special attention
• educated the public about the responsibilities of being a pet owner, including the importance of spaying and neutering, vaccinations, licensing, nutrition and proper hygiene
• maintain a high quality of service to everyone that comes in contact Lucky Dog Rescue
• maintain our 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation status. Tax ID: 20-1630535
Klover is an abused 3 mo old Dal mix pup with two broken front legs... she was brought into the shelter as a stray and vets do not think her injuries look like hit by car, they believe someone may have hit her with a bat or large object to cause this.
Paul Dressel was a supporter of Lucky Dog Rescue, and adopted from Lucky Dog Rescue more than once! His beloved pets Willimina and Milo came from Lucky Dog Rescue. This page has been set up to allow people to donate to Lucky Dog Rescue in Paul's honor.
Pam Thompson July 6, 1972 - June 30, 2013
Pam was a wonderful friend, volunteer, and foster for Lucky Dog Rescue. Pam loved dogs and cats. She really was a true animal advocate. Many dogs, puppies, kittens and cats ended up in Pam’s care over the years.
Summer is the hardest time of year for rescues and it has hit us particularly hard this year. We have been very busy rescuing a record number of dogs, and our vet bills have been higher than usual. We don't turn our back on sick, injured, or older dogs.
Gus needs orthopedic surgery from a specialist! Our regular rescue vet is unable to do the type of plating that needs to happen, so we are fundraising to get little Gus the specialized help he needs
Tink's FHO surgery. Tink is a tiny 4 pound Chihuahua that is in need of a Femoral Head Osteotomy. Lucky Dog Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit and relies on donations from the public.
