Hello,

I am a young engineer at the age of 26 now, and not long ago i just spotted a rare beauty. I wash pushed by my girlfriend, to finally make my driving licence, and although i was scared of fail, i actually did it. I also got my licence on Oct. 27 when me and my girlfriend have our anniversary.

Right after that, i got a small loan from the company so i can buy a car. I was looking left and right for different models, when, one of my colleague, told me that a guy who quit the company is selling his car.

As i knew the guy, and the car too, i decided to buy it.

That was on November 20, 2015. That day, me and this little beauty made a friendship. It's a '98 Ford Puma.

I felt in love with it really fast, not just because how powerful it is, but because of how it looks, how it handles, and how comfy it is.

Since that time, we did some break disk changes, some break pads, also we did a full polish, and headlight polish.
We also cleaned the interior, washed the engine, and slowly slowly put her back in shapes.
A new player was installed, new rubber seals to the windows, a small 50w subwoofer, air conditioning agent was refilled, and lot of other tiny bits to get her to actual shape.

In August we did a tour around our country, making 3000 km in two weeks and this little beast, didn't failed to be at our side.
In just couple of months, this car, became a family member. And I want her, to stay much much longer with us.

This Ford was born in September 1998, and until today, she made only 150.000 kms. Pretty new, if you think about the car, but as you know, the time has made it's negative impact... rust. Yes, a lot of rust. Although, things were changing, and everything is still going on it's restoration, but unfortunately, me as a young guy, with this car, i can't afford to do everything i need and want with her. Besides the car, i have a dentist to visit which is eating up in one month more money that this little guy does in half a year.
Why? because our laws are so hard for young guys. I have the car on my name, the insurance is made for the car, not driver, and unfortunately only the insurance for a year is as much as my salary for two months. Also we need to take in consideration taxes, fuel, and other little services.

As my dentist is my first priority, i though of asking you guys, to help me out restore this little car to be back in showroom condition so me and my girlfriend.

As for the start, i said that around 2500 euros should be enough to get this little one back in shape. That is a rough estimation as all i need to do now is just three simple things:
- rust removal and panel repair (~1000 euro)
- cambelt change (~350 euro)
- full body paint (~1200 euro)

What can I promise? If this car will be back in her shapes, I promise to never let it go. Simply because I love her! If ever i will get another car, this one, for sure will be in a garage, kept clean, in warm little place and run every time possible.

Why is this project worth it? Because this model was produced in a limited series. 130.000 in total.
In the uk only 22.000 remained on road, all others were scrapped, and the rest were thrown around Europe.
Slowly, this will became an old timer, an iconic car, which has a history, and is rare. In couple of years, when this little guy will be history, and as rare as a red panda, I want one to be mine. In perfect shape.

Please help me with this little young timer to be back on the road in perfect shape. Help me to be able to give her the love and care she deserves.

Thank you guys...
